Mountain Town.

Last weekend, I got to escape the city for a while, and head to the cute lil' mountain town of Banff, Alberta!
It's a great place to drive out to and spend the day exploring the tourist filled town. So, with a few of my closest friends, we hopped into the car, and drove out!

(This was not our car.... but I wish it was....)

I got to spend my day with these lovely ladies! Sabine (bean) and Franca! They're a joy and by far my favorite people. I couldn't have asked for a better pair to escape from Calgary with!
Bean's one of those girls that you can't help but love. She's such a friendly soul and has a heart of pure gold. Franca is just as amazing! She's one of those people you can have the most amazing vents with and then dance as hard as you can to Brooke Candy two seconds later. They're absolutely perfect!

A big tourist attraction in Banff is the beautiful Banff Springs Hotel. It's breathtaking inside! I'm in love.  My parents got married at this hotel, and the photos from that wedding are so romantic. It feels like you've entered a castle. It's also known as one of the most haunted places in Alberta. Rumor has it that in room 873, a family was murdered and after the crime scene closed, the room was remodeled but no matter what they did, the little girl that was murdered's hand prints kept appearing on the mirrors in the room. So they blocked off the room, leaving a huge empty wall. Of course I needed to see for myself and dragged Bean and Franca to the 8th floor of the hotel. When we got to room 872, 874 was right beside it and across from them was an empty space. Room 873 literally does not exist. If you feel against the wall, under the light that would've lit up the door, you can feel the door frame. Freaky.

On our way to the hotel, we stopped over on a hill and took a few photos! the scenery was stunning!

There was a wedding going on in the hotel. I thought this looked so beautiful with all the tables placed throughout.

Banff also has some amazing Candy stores. So of course we stopped!
